THE DEANS LIST - COLLEGE RAP STYLE - THE PEOPLE

Lately Boston has been blowing up with their new style of pop-hip-hop that Sam Adams started there. Many new artists are trying to copy this style but are not successful. The Dean's list is another group from Boston and they have been continuing to impress me with every new track they come out with. The first time I heard of these guys was when their remix of Breakeven by the Script came out. They like to sample other songs in their beats and have a relaxed but still poppy kinda of rapping style. Their newest song is sampled with the song We are the People by Empire of the Sun and makes for a track with swag. I'm sure most of you guys have heard of them from the Breakeven remix but check out their other stuff too. Its worth a listen. You can hear more at their website. The Deans List
