HOODIE ALLEN - BRAND NEW SINGLE AND MUSIC VIDEO - NO INTERRUPTION

Hoodie Allen is one of those rappers that you question if you can even call it rap. He's one of the whitest kids of all time that makes it work. He never tries to be anyone he's not and makes straight jams. This song is no different. Unfortunately this song can't be downloaded for free but instead get it on Itunes. Hoodie has given us plenty of free music in the past so I encourage everyone to go out and get this single and give Hoodie some support for all his effort over the last two or three years.

LOGIC "YOUNG SINATRA" MIXTAPE & FREE DOWNLOADS

If you haven't heard Logic yet, then you are in for a real treat. This versatile kid tops killer beats with sick flows and creative bars. The "Young Sinatra" mix tape is definitely worth the download and a few listens, but "All I do" is by far my favorite track by Logic. Check out Logic on the web or like him on facebook here.

KIRKO BANGZ - FROM HOUSTON TX - NEXT BIG THING?

I am sure by now most of you guys have at least heard the name Kirko Bangz. His single "Drank In My Cup" (music video above) and "What Yo Name Iz" has helped give him a steady rise in popularity. Its good to see someone from HTown bringing it and gaining fame. It seems like there has been a drop off in the popularity of third coast hip hop and Kirko could change that nationwide. His style has been bringing up a lot of Drake comparisons (probably because of the auto-tune singing and rapping) which is never a bad thing. Last week Kirko was in Austin,Tx for SXSW playing with acts such as B.o.B. He is slowly becoming one of my favorite new rappers so I thought I'd share a little information about this up and comer.

FACTS:
Real Name: Kirk Randle
Age: 22
Hometown: Houston Tx.
Attends: Prairie View A&M College
Genre: HTown Hip Hop (3rd Coast)

Now that you know a little more about him check out these songs by him. Also I posted a sick freestyle by J Cole over the "Drank in My Cup" beat.

What Yo Name Iz Remix - Ft. Big Sean, Wale and Bun B ***

Say Hello ***

This song is over the I'm On One Instrumental by Dj Khaled and Drake. Must HEAR. Kirko kills it.

Kiss The Sky ***

If you watch Eastbound and Down I think you will like this one. After a few seconds you will quickly recognize this background track. This song samples the song "Kiss the Sky" by Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra. KENNY POWERS.

That Pole **

This is his most recent release. It is a song that will appeal to many gentlemen's clubs across the nation (hence the name).

DRANK IN MY CUP (Styles&Complete Remix) **** MUST HEAR

Dubstep remix of Drank In My Cup. Yes I'm serious. Its amazing. MUST DOWNLOAD.

BRAND NEW PJ SIMAS - VIDEO AND FREE DOWNLOAD - CALIFORNIA LONELY

Pj Simas is back. If you don't know, PJ is a 21 yr old student at California Polytechnic State University and is studying to be a civil engineer. He not only writes all his own music, but he also produces every beat and plays every instrument you hear in all of his songs. I am sure you have seen him on here before with songs such as "Ocean Drop" and his "Someone Like You" Adele Remix. He has been releasing free quality music for the past two years. Every song he releases is better so by now they are all pretty legit. Anyway he released a new track last night along with a video. This song is a little deeper than the average Simas song. He discusses the troubles of substance abuse and takes you through the mind of a person who needs a change. This is one of his best tracks to date. Check it out.

BREAK SCIENCE "MONOLITH CODE" EP & DOWNLOAD

Released from Pretty Lights Music last month, the Break Science EP "Monolith Code" is raw. The Duo out of Brooklyn, Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee, rock the deck with this one. Every song on the EP is swag worthy and original. The style feels like Pretty Lights mixed with something, but I haven't figured what. Stay tuned for more original dance music from these spiritual steppers.

SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW REMIXES - GOTYE - DUBSTEP/ELECTRONIC - AND MORE

(One of my favorite music videos of all time. Very different and interesting. Just a great idea all around. Best part = 2:30 - 3:10 when Kimbra comes in.)

Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye Ft Kimbra might possibly one of the greatest songs ever made. Since this is the case I thought I would share a bunch of my favorite remixes of the song so that it will never get old. I have a problem with overplaying songs way too much the first week I get them and then I move on. Maybe you do too. These tracks help keep me sane and mix things up a little. Enjoy.

Somebody That I Used To Know (KDrew Remix) ***
This is my favorite remix of all them mainly because of the part at 2:20 when KDrew features Kimbra's part. In my opinion this is the best part of the original song as well. Anyways this is a great remix from a guy that I had never heard of until now. Looking for more from KDrew in the future.

Somebody That I Used To Know (Bombs Away Remix) **
This was the first legit remix I ever heard of this song. Legit is probably an understatement because this remix, as long as all the others, is amazing. This version is a little slower and not as upbeat. Great for relaxing and kicking it.

Somebody That I Used To Know (TheFatRat Remix) ***
The Fat Rat has quickly become one of my favorite DJs. His remixes are filled with sounds that blend to make songs 100 times better than their originals. I have posted The Fat Rat's work before on this site, including on the Best Songs of January post. Look for this trend to continue. His remixes are brighter than most dubstep which makes me enjoy it that much more. Great guy to jam out to for those nice sunny days.

EXTRAS

BrightSide (TheFatRat Remix) **
Since I just talked a little about Fat Rat here's another song that exhibits his talent and unique sound.

Set Fire (3LAU Remix) **
Adele Remixed...need I say more. Check out our old post of GIVE ME MORE ADELE - REMIXES AND MORE for more of those. Also, I know I have claimed a bunch of people to be my favorite DJs and producers but this guy is on the list as well. 3LAU (pronounced like BLAH) has continually improved and has become much more than just a mash up artists. He has made defined sounds and has started producing high quality material. Check his website 3LAU.com

Moves Like Jagger (EOS Remix) ***
Moves Like Jagger might be one of my least favorite songs of all time and I am sure many of you would agree; however, this is remix is a MUST LISTEN. I was shocked to find out EOS was only 15 years old when he made this!!! Talk about a prodigy. I believe he is now 16 but still, this remix would be impressive even if someone like Skrillex or Rusko had made it. EOS is another producer the world better get ready for. I expect big things from this kid in the future. Check this one out.

BRAND NEW MAC MILLER - LOUD - FROM UPCOMING MIXTAPE

Mac Miller has blown up more than almost any other rapper besides Wiz Khalifa in these past two years (most of which was due to Wiz). But anyways people who know me, know I have always been a pretty big Mac fan. Last year Mac released a mixtape called "Best Day Ever" around this time. I remember having that mixtape on repeat my whole spring break in Breckenridge. The year before that he released "K.I.D.S" which is one of my favorite mixtapes of all time. But anyway here is a somewhat new sound from the 19 year old. The beat is the main difference but like always, Mac does a good job on whatever is thrown at him. Check it out and get excited for the release of his new mixtape "Macadellic" which should be released later this month.

DUBSTEP - BRAND NEW MIXES AND JAMS - MUST HEAR

So all of these have a three out of three star rating...Why? Because its been forever since we've posted and these are the best ones we feel like we should catch you up on if you haven't already heard them. So LISTEN TO ALL OF THEM.

Levels Over Levels (DjCK Remix) - Drake, Avicii and Skrillex ***

Over by Drake mashed with Skrillex's Remix of Avicii's Levels. It seems like such a simple concept but it just sounds so good together.

Stay Fly (Candyland Remix) - Three Six Mafia ***
Pretty self explanatory...Stay Fly by Three Six Mafia, one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time remixed into dubstep. Yeah this one is a banger.

Tonight Is The Night (TimeFlies Remix) ***

Timeflies has improved exponentially in this past year. This remix they made featuring Outasight is by FAR their best work to the date. If you never really liked Timeflies I encourage you to give this one a listen; this song is nothing like their other work. The music video for this track is legit and can be found at the top of this post. Check it out.

Levels (In Reverse George Monev Edit) - Avicii ***
This remix is freakin awesome. Have to admit Levels is the most overplayed song of all time besides Pumped Up Kicks but there is a reason for that. It is an amazing song. This version almost sounds like a completely new song.

Dear Professor (Eliminate Remix) - The Deans List ***
One of my favorite songs of all time made into a little dub. This remix compliments the song perfectly and doesn't take away from the greatness of it. So check it.
