Before I post all of these songs, I want to apologize for the lack of posts lately (we are going to try to start everyday). It has been a very busy month. As you can see are starting to makes true strides. We are hosting our first show ever this Thursday, January 26th at Schotzis Bar in College Station and we couldn't be more excited. If you are not familiar with us we are just a bunch of college kids who love music and love sharing it even more, so thats what we do. We hope you enjoy the music we give you and we want to say thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way. To all our new listeners please take time and check us out and continue to tell your friends.
Anyway..back to the music. I'll start out with what seems to be everyones new favorite party music...dubstep.
DUBSTEP/ELECTRONIC AND MASH UPS
Go Hard (Crizzly Remix) ***
To start the playlist off let us begin with a straight banger. If you like hard bass then look no further, this is your new favorite song. If you dont believe me fast forward to :50 seconds and see for yourself. Crizzly has developed a unique sound that is gaining some major popularity. He is one of my favorite upcoming artists. Just make sure you have some good speakers so you can fully enjoy it.
VAMOS A LA LEVELS - Avicii ****
MUST HEAR. I know levels has been remixed more than any other song ever made but this is tied with Skrillex's remix as my favorite mix up to date. Vamos a la playa mixed with Avicii should be enough of a description to convince you to listen.
Don't Stop (TheFatRat Remix) - Foster the People ***
FAVORITE SONG RIGHT NOW. Im sure everybody on here knows who Foster the People is...but did you know they have songs besides "Pumped Up Kicks"? The radio sure doesn't. Hah anyway this song is an electronic remix that is simply amazing. I wish this was the original.
Dolphin - Ravi Parikh **
Really relaxing good feeling track right here. Only way to describe this song is pure bliss. Seriously smooth as can be with great catchy sounds to keep you entertained throughout. Check it out.
Ray Charles DJ Skeet Skeet Remix - Chiddy Bang **
Always been a big fan of skeet skeet and this electronic mix delivers the usual awesome sounds he incorporates. Its a very unique electronic sound that is not dubstep but still is great.
Midnight Life - The White Panda ***
This is my favorite mash up right now. I'm sure I will get tired of it in a week or so but for now this is my jam. Great mash up remix done by mashing The Good Life by Kanye ft T pain mixed with M83's midnight city. A must hear.
HIP-HOP
A Drop In the Ocean - Kanye, Eminem and Wiz Khalifa ***
This mash up is awesome. It combines Kanye, Wiz, and Eminem with a great instrumental of "A Drop in the Ocean". This is a song that can be appreciated by every type of music listener.
Midnight City - YONAS ***
Yonas is blowing up. I posted his song he did with the instrumental from "Pumped Up Kicks" last month and I still have yet to find someone who doesn't like it. This is another one of those songs. This time he uses an instrumental remix of "Midnight City" by M83 and makes a sick hip hop track. Enjoy.
I Don't Normally Do This - Jesse McCartney Ft. Tyga ***
Yes you read it right. I am posting a Jesse McCartney track. I don't know what it is but I love this song. Once you get over the fact that its Jesse McCartney singing, I'm sure you will agree. If not, you can still agree that this will be on the radio in no time.
Every Evening - Chiddy Bang Ft 2 AM Club **
Chiddy is back with another jam. This time he has teamed up with the 2 AM Club. The chorus of this song is catchy enough to hook you from the start and of course Chiddy throws down some great lines as always.
Sirens - Skizzy Mars ***
Skizzy Mars has become one of my favorite rappers over this past year. Why? Becuase I still haven't found a song he has made that I don't like. This is no exception. It was one of his first songs he ever made but he re-recorded. If you are a Skizzy fan you will love this.
OTHER
Cinema Cover - Jason Evigen ***
Don't even have to describe this one. Just listen and then tell me its not an amazing cover.
