NEW WIZ KHALIFA - ROLLING PAPERS CD - PREVIEW

Okay so I got this cd early in the mail so I'll go ahead and post my favorite songs from it. I know a lot of people have been saying Wiz has sold out and in some songs it may sound like it, but I disagree. He's just making one cd that appeals to a broader fan base. Its hard to say he changed his style when half of the songs on this cd were released over a year ago and just remastered for this album. He deserves the success he has reached and tomorrow he will probably make history with the release of "Rolling Papers". Anyway check these songs out. (Sorry theres no download link...this is just a preview. Go buy it tomorrow! Its worth it.)


When Im Gone *** - sick intro song to the Cd. FAVORITE SONG. Starts the song off with a perfect line for Wiz. "They say all I rap about is bitches and champaign..you would too if every night you seen the same thing."



No Sleep *** - number 1 on iTunes...I'm a big fan of most of the song..but some is just too poppy for Wiz



Get Your Shit *** - 2nd favorite song on the album. Wiz goes deep.



Rooftops *** - This song features Currency and is more like Wiz's previous mixtapes. 3rd favorite.



Wake Up *** - A lot like "Roll Up" and "No Sleep" but the verse is sick. Big fan on this song.



Fly Solo ** - This song is great I just have heard it a million times already before the CD came out. He dropped this song a while back but remastered it. Sounds better...



Cameras ** - Another song that was remastered for this CD. Very laid back. It used to be called "Know Your Name".

If you haven't heard of Flux Pavilion then you don't know dubstep, and here he is again with another banger. This mix has everything you could want. A poppy beat with a heavy drop, that doesn't get monotonous. I'll give this beat three stars because I love the sound and can't help but whomp along. Check back for new posts coming soon!

WERE BACKKK - MASHUP MONDAY - STRAIGHT SWAGGIN TRACKS

This first mix is a track by DJ Dumpz. It mashes the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pendulum and Bruno Mars. These are three very different styles of music that somehow blend together and sound amazing. Definitely one of the best mash ups I have heard it a while.

This next mix is by Mochi Beats. Mochi Beats always comes out with great stuff and this song is no different. It is very crispy and clean. This track features Wacka Flacka, Kesha, Diddy, and Wale. A great jam for parties.

Ok this song isn't necessarily a mash up and it has been out for a month or so. Some reason I never posted and it is a must hear. It is a track produced by Brenton Duvall, who has been gaining a lot of respect as a producer, and Childish Gambino, an underrated rapper that has a sick flow. Together they make some great music. Check it.

This track is a dubstep jam that goes hard. If you have decent speakers please do them a favor and blast this song. G.I.O. Electro produced this track and he did not mess around. The tone is pretty bright with an upbeat tempo that just makes you want to rage. MUST HEAR.

ROLL UP - NEW WIZ KHALIFA MUSIC VIDEO

So Wiz has blown up in the rap game this past year...finally. This guy has released like 8 mixtapes and has been rapping for over 5 years. It is about time he enjoys a little success from his hard work. Anyway, this new video is definitely a different style for Wiz (even his hair is different haha). Some will love this new "hollywood" version of Wiz, others will say they miss the old underground Wiz. I really don't think he has changed that much. I think his new fame has made people perceive him as having changed just because his popularity has increased. If Wiz released this track sometime last year, when he wasn't as well known, I don't think his fans would criticize him as much. I'm a big fan of everything Wiz puts out, no matter what style, including this song. So anyway check this new video out that Wiz dropped today on his twitter.

NEW MAC MILLER - MUSIC VIDEO - DONALD TRUMP

Anticipation for Mac Miller's mixtape,"Best Day Ever", has been gaining massive attention around the country and will no doubt but Mac's biggest release yet. Last night he promised his twitter followers the release of the Donald Trump music video. It gained so much attention and buzz that "Mac Miller" and "Donald Trump" became trending topics on twitter. I know I always talk about Mac Miller but its for a reason. This kid is awesome.
