COLLIE BUDDZ - NEW EP - SICKK

Collie Buddz have been around for a few years and broke out with their single "Come Around". They have a reggae/rap style sort of like Matisyahu mixed with Damian Marley. They just released a new EP called "Playback" and it is a must hear. I have always liked Collie Buddz but never gave them too much credit until now. The EP is amazing and really shows how far this group has come. Anyway here are a few of my favorites from the new release.

NEW SAM ADAMS - COMING HOME COVER

Sam Adams is back again with a hot single that has only been up for one night on Youtube and already has over 40,000 views. Thats pretty impressive. Anyway this song uses the "Coming Home" instrumental that J Cole and P Diddy both use. Personally I think Diddy ruined this instrumental for me but Sam Adams made me like it a little more with his orignal style. Check it out.

NEW WIZ KHALIFA MIXTAPE - MUST HEAR

All these songs are from Wiz Khalifa's new mixtape "Kush and OJ 2". Anyway I don't have to even talk this guy up anymore. He's gaining fame and success more and more everyday. He's looking like he will be the next Kid Cudi. I think he would be the biggest rapper out right now if he wasn't so big on being underground. He really doesn't care about the fame. He just really likes the life he lives now and the fans he has now. Drake even asked Wiz to tour with him, Wiz politely turned him down stating that his fan base is a little different. That just proves that he is someone who is actually in it for the music and not just the money. Anyway Check out his new stuff.


Exit Row ft Trailblaza *** MUST HEAR DOWNLOAD HERE

This was one of the few songs from the mixtape that hadn't been leaked yet. Wiz never lets down and this song is my new favorite. It has an upbeat instrumental which just puts you in a good mood. His verses are full of his unique style and lyricism and the chorus has a B.o.B. vibe to it. Surprisingly Wiz can kind of sing.

This track has a sick instrumental that a hundred rappers have used but of course Wiz kills it.

Catchy right from the start. This is a MUST HEAR. Never heard Wiz use this style before and its amazing. If I had to describe it in one word I would say "Smooth". He builds his verses up by singing the first half and then coming in with his flows. Its amazing.


Ez Rider with Hash *** (party song) DOWNLOAD HERE

This song is a new instrumental made with a hook from "This Plane" and mixed with another Wiz song called "Make it Hot". This version is more for parties and getting pumped up.


That Good ft. Snoop Dogg ** DOWNLOAD HERE

The ultimate combo. Wiz was asked who his dream tour would be and Snoop was one of the few he included. I think they describe their relationship and reputation pretty well calling themselves "the new Cheech and Chong". This song isn't amazing but its still definitely worth a listen.

NEW TIMEFLIES - CARS MONEY AND FAME

Once again Timesflies shows their versatility and makes a great song with 5 or 6 different styles put together. They are gaining more fame everyday and for good reason. If you still haven't heard these guys check it.

MACKLEMORE - MY OH MY

Macklemore is a hip-hop artists from the Seattle area that has a ridiculous flow. His lyrics are different from the modern rappers and are very relatable. The music video is well produced with great visuals that makes the song even better. If you like an indie hip - hop such as Atmosphere, Blue Scholars or Talib Kweli, then you will love Macklemore. Check it out.

FRESH NEW TRACKS - CHECK EM OUT

Potential - Jola *** DOWNLOAD HERE

This first track "Potential" is an upbeat hip hop song with sampling from the band "Phoenix". Jola and his producer were flawless when creating the beat. Jola's lyrics in this song are much better than his normal gibberish about partying. They actually have some meaning and you can tell Jola is speaking out to someone from experience. Awesome track.


Lights (Potomac Boys Club Remix) *** DOWNLOAD HERE

Okay this song is a few weeks old and has been on the TWS playlist but I haven't had time to upload it for download until now. This is one of the best mash ups I've heard in a while. Brenton Duvall helps out on this track which always makes for a great one. Listen to it.


Good Vibrations - Young Prince *** DOWNLOAD HERE

Young Prince is fairly new to the game and just dropped his first mixtape "War". This is my favorite song off it. It has the beat that Brenton Duvall mixed with Gucci Mane in the song "That's All". Anyway this song is a must hear.

COLZIE - NEW MUST HEAR - UP AND COMING

Okay, so I got a text from a friend the other day that said he knew a guy that could flow and has some sick tracks. I was hesitant at first but I gave it a listen anyway. I was shocked at how good the material was. Shane Cole aka Colzie has a great sound which could be compared to a combination of Chris Webby and Cam Meekins (both of which have been gaining major popularity). Anyway check this guy out, you won't be disappointed. I'm sure you will being seeing more of him soon.

NEW CHIDDY BANG - MUST HEAR

Chiddy Bang is one of the best out right now. His newest release "Rescue Me" does not dissapoint. This song has a rock/pop feel to it but Chiddy still goes hard and has some memorable lyrics. During the holidays not very much new stuff is released so take advantage of this sick track. I already have it on repeat. Check it out.
